|3 June 2017||SSF jointly hosted the very well attended Alliance of Literary Societies Conference, held in The Rivers Suite at the Craiglockhart Campus of Napier University in Edinburgh. Main speakers were Professor Alistair McCleery of the University on 'The First World War and the Scottish Novel' and Professor Hazel Hutchinson from the University of Aberdeen with 'Whistling Over the Fields: Soundscapes of War'.
